Taunton set to flip switch on first solar power array

TAUNTON, Mass. (WLNE) — Taunton Mayor Shaunna O’Connell will help introduce the city’s first solar energy project Thursday.

The mayor will join the city’s superintendent and representatives from Arch Energy for the ceremonial flip of a switch at the solar panel array on top of Chamberlain Elementary School.

The ceremony will begin at 11:30 a.m. Thursday.
