TEDxURI talks innovation
SOUTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (WLNE) — The University of Rhode Island hosted its annual TEDxURI event on Sunday, focusing on a theme of innovation.
Organizers said that the speakers at this year’s talks “challenge us to think bigger than ourselves, participate in shaping the future, and do our part in protecting the planet.”
The event featured 10 speakers discussing a variety of topics, including eco-resiliency, music education, and a hip-hop opera version of Romeo and Juliet.
TEDx events are planned and coordinated independently by the organizers who run the events.
A full program from the event, as well as a recording of the talks, can be found here.
