Teen taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Woonsocket

WOONSOCKET, R.I. (WLNE)- A teenage boy was taken to the hospital on Sunday evening after being hit by a car in Woonsocket, according to police.

The 15-year-old boy was hit while on Rockland Street at around 4 p.m.

Police said that the boy suffered minor injuries and was transported to Hasbro Children’s hospital.

The driver of the car stayed at the scene and was cooperative with police.
