Teens transported to hospital after multi-vehicle crash in Taunton

TAUNTON, Mass. (WLNE) — The Taunton Police Department said two teenagers were transported to the hospital after a three-vehicle crash on Thursday.

Police said a motorcycle/scooter and two other vehicles collided on Cohannet Street and Silver Street around 1 p.m.

The driver of the motorcycle/scooter was a 16-year-old male who was transported to a trauma center by medflight, while their 15-year-old passenger was also transported to the hospital.

The 51-year-old driver of one car was transported to the hospital, while the  81-year-old-driver of the other car was not transported.
