Temperature roller coaster as we head into March
Skies are beginning to clear across the area and sun sunshine will return on Friday. It will be breezy and a bit cooler, with highs in the 40s.
Clouds will return tomorrow night as a clipper system swings through the region. The warm front will bring a few pre-dawn showers.
Clouds will break for sun during the daytime hours, and temperatures will return to the 50s – a very nice afternoon! However, it will all come to a screeching halt Saturday evening.
The cold front will swing through during the late afternoon. There could be an isolated shower or two out of it, but the bigger result will be the cold air that spills in behind it.
Evening temperatures will fall into the 20s-30s, with overnight temperatures in the teens. Wind chills Sunday morning will be close to zero!!
After a cold Sunday and Monday (highs mid-30s) temperatures will warm back up as we head into the midweek.
