Temperatures Return to the 80s Friday
A warm front tonight will bring in clouds, patchy fog and the chance of a late shower after midnight. Overnight lows will drop to the lower-60s. Friday starts with patchy fog and cloudiness that will clear to sunshine. Conditions for Friday include a boost in heat and humidity and gusty breezes from the south. High temps Friday afternoon will top out at 82 inland and cooler along the coast. Saturday kicks off the weekend with mostly sunny skies and lows near 67. Saturday afternoon, a cold front will come through Southern New England. Preceding that, it will be warm in the loewr-80s and quite muggy. As a result, we have the potential of not just showers but thunderstorms as well. In western portions of Southern New England, we have the potential for severe weather as well. Saturday night will keep showers in play as the meat of the front comes through. after the last of the showers in the morning, Sunday will be mostly cloudy and much cooler with highs just shy of 70. Next week is shaping up to me mostly sunny and dry with temperatures in the lower-70s. Expect these conditions from Monday through Thursday of next week.
