Temple Emanu-El marks Holocaust Remembrance Day with candlelight procession

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Thursday is Holocaust Remembrance Day for the Jewish community, known as Yom HaShoah.

To mark the occasion, a Providence temple will host a candlelight procession at Temple Emanu-El.

The temple will screen the documentary “Marching All Night: A Family’s Journey from the Lodz Ghetto to Auschwitz-Birkenau.”

The procession is at 6:45 p.m., and the screening is at 7 p.m..
