Tenth victim dies from injuries sustained in Gabriel House fire

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — A tenth person has died from injuries sustained in the deadly Gabriel House assisted living fire, according to a statement from Bristol County District Attorney representative Jennifer Sowa.

Brenda Cropper, 66, had been in critical condition at an area hospital since being removed from the Gabriel House Sunday by fire personnel.

Cropper died late in the day on Wednesday.

The fire is still under investigation at this time.
