The First Forecast of 2025!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I hope you’ve had a wonderful start to 2025! In terms of the weather, we’re starting off with a “raw” morning. Temperatures may be mild, in the upper 40s and low 50s, but we’re still cloudy, foggy, and a bit soggy. This afternoon, temperatures will stay, more or less, the same (upper 40s/low 50s). Expect the clouds to hang around, and a few more showers to return later this evening.
Overnight, the wet weather clears out, but the windy weather ramps up. We wake up tomorrow with more sunshine and temperatures in the low 30s. Winds will be howling out of the WNW, with speeds up to 20 mph and gusts up to 50 mph. For that reason, we have a Wind Advisory in place from 7 PM this evening through 10 PM Thursday evening. Temperatures will also reflect the colder air filtering in to southern New England, as highs on Thursday will only reach the low 40s.
That, however, is just the beginning of our colder pattern. The rest of the weekend/the weekend, highs will only reach the 30s (Sat-Mon will only reach the low 30s), even as sunshine remains! Stay warm!
