The ‘Matty Wagon’ offers discount on Lyft rides this St. Patrick’s Day

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Matthew Dennison Charitable Foundation announced their partnering with Lyft to offer a safe and sober ride this St. Patrick’s Day.

Matthew Dennison, 17, was killed by a drunk driver in 2022.

In efforts to encourage keeping the roads clear of drunk drivers, the foundation announced on their Facebook page a discount off any Lyft ride in the state of RI on Sunday, March 17.

The “Matty Wagon” will run from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., offering $16 off the rideshare.
