The royal wedding isn’t the only wedding happening May 19…

NEWPORT, R.I. (WLNE) – May 19 is almost here…it’s time for the big wedding!
That’s Lauren and Alberto’s wedding, of course. They’re getting hitched at the Atlantic Resort in Newport the same day as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
They have been together for years. But it was a quick engagement – just 10 months. They had the date booked right away. Then, the royal couple decided on the same one. Lauren and Albert say sharing their wedding date with the royals is no biggie. They even created their own hashtag: #therealroyalwedding.
Luckily, their guests weren’t double booked. "Our friends and families have been making fun of it being like, ‘Ooh we had to tell the prince and princess we couldn’t go to their wedding because we’re coming to yours!"
No matter what happens across the pond, for Lauren and Albert, May 19, 2018 is still their big day.
"No matter what i’m marrying my queen so I’m happy. I’m happy."
