BOSTON (WLNE) — The Duke of Cambridge, Prince William, and his wife Kate Middleton will be making their way to Boston this December.

The royal couple will be naming five winners for this year’s Earthshot Prize with the second annual ceremony being held in Boston.

The award aims to promote impactful approaches to the world’s most pressing environmental challenges.

Prince William posted the announcement to his Twitter account Wednesday morning. Boston Red Sox shortstop Xander Bogaerts made an appearance in the video.
