‘The Vault Music Hall & Pub’ in New Bedford closing ‘immediately’

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) — “The Vault Music Hall & Pub” in New Bedford announced on Sunday that it would be closing “effective immediately.”

Sunday’s announcement assured customers who had already bought tickets to upcoming shows, that their payment would be refunded.

Those canceled shows could be moved to other nearby venues, “The Vault” said.

The venue posted to it’s Facebook page saying, “We want to thank everybody who has supported us as a live music venue featuring some of the best entertainment that has ever been brought to this city.”

The pub side of the venue is closing down, but ownership has “tentative plans” to reopen it under a new concept.

Any gift cards to the pub that have already been purchased will be honored when it eventually reopens.
