Thief caught on camera stealing packages from Pawtucket home

Pawtucket Police are searching for a suspect caught on camera stealing packages from a doorstep.

Surveillance cameras at the residence on John Street captured the suspect snatching two boxes from the front steps at approximately 10:41 a.m. on Monday. The suspect is seen wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, black vest, and black pants, with sneakers.

The residents say the packages contained men’s clothes, a "Walking Dead" television show board game, and a "Firefly" television show board game.

Police are warning residents to take extra precautions when having packages delivered this time of year, recommending that deliveries be sent to secure places, or schedule them to be delivered when someone is home to accept them.
