Think your pet has what it takes? The Potter League launches calendar contest

MIDDLETOWN, R.I. (WLNE) — Potter League for Animals announced their eighth annual pet calendar photo contest.

The annual “P.S. I Love You Pet Calendar Photo Contest” supports essential services for animals in need.

Entrants are invited to submit their pet’s photo, and encourage pet lovers to vote at one dollar per vote.

The animal league shared the success of last years fundraiser that brought in over $60,000.

These funds are essential to support the assistance of over 15,000 animals in need each year, the league said.

The contest is open to everyone.

Entrants will have the chance to have their pet featured on the cover of the calendar, a complementary copy of the calendar, tickets to the annual LoveBash for Animals party, and a professional shoot of their furry friend.

All photo entries earning five votes or more are guaranteed a spot in the calendar, or on the collage pages.

Entries can be submitted from Feb. 1 to March 4.
