Threat sends Dighton-Rehoboth Regional High School into lock down

NORTH DIGHTON, Mass. (WLNE) — Dighton-Rehoboth Regional High School went on lock down Wednesday morning.

An inside source told ABC 6 News that a threat written on one of the walls inside of a boys’ bathroom was the cause of the lock down.

In an email to parents, Superintendent Dr. Anthony Azar said that just after 10 a.m. “violent messages” were found in the bathroom.

After investigating, Azar said police didn’t find the threat be credible, and classes resumed.

No injuries were reported.
