Three accused of the murder of a 17-year-old in New Bedford

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE)- Two men and one woman have been accused of having a role in a 2019 murder of a 17-year-old boy, the District Attorney’s Office announced on Friday.
Kevin Edwards, 22, Mauricio Pineda, 25, and Ashlee Cambra, 23 are all being held in police custody.
Edwards is being accused of murder, assault and battery by discharge of a firearm, carrying an illegal firearm and unlawful possession of a large capacity feeding device.
Pineda is being accused of murder, accessory to murder before the fact, assault and battery by discharge of a firearm, carrying an illegal firearm, unlawful possession of a large capacity feeding device, possession of an illegal firearm and two counts of unlawful possession of a large capacity feeding device.
Cambra is being accused of a single count of accessory to murder after the fact.
Police responded to a reported shooting at 160 Ashley Boulevard on October 19, 2019.
Upon arrival they found 17-year-old Paul Collazo-Ruiz as well as a 20-year-old New Bedford man had both been shot, Collazo-Ruiz was pronounced dead at the scene while the 20-year-old victim was taken to the hospital where he recovered from the wounds.
