Three arrested after police respond to large crowd disturbance call in Providence

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Providence police said three people were arrested after a disturbance Saturday night on Smart Street.

Officers were called for a report of a large crowd and loud music, arriving to find several cars blocking the road.

Police say Cone Haziz and Lana Wilcox were arrested for obstructing officers who were trying to break up the crowd.

Both were also charged with disorderly conduct and another person, Dante Wilcox, faces that same charge.
