UPDATE: Police ID man arrested for DUI following multi-vehicle crash

CRANSTON, R.I. (WLNE) – Police have identified the man arrested for a DUI following a three car accident Tuesday evening.

Cranston Police told ABC6 News, Justin Ferreira, 26, of Warwick was charged with DUI and reckless driving when officers responded to the area of Phenix Ave and Natick Ave for a mult-vehicle crash around 5:23 p.m.

It was noted two individuals were extracted from separate vehicles. They sustained minor injuries and were transported to Kent County Hospital.

No further information is available at this time.
