Three otter pups welcomed at Buttonwood Zoo

NEW BEDFORD, M.A. — Buttonwood Zoo announced it is getting some "otterly" adorable additions, by welcoming three North American river otter pups on Tuesday.

The zoo will be introducing the three new otter pups to the otter habitat in the coming weeks.

The pups, one male and two females, were born back in March and are currently learning how to swim and getting adjusted to their surroundings.

Zoo Director Keith Lovett told ABC6 News a naming contest for the pups will be announced soon.
