Tides Family Services to run St. Mary’s Home for Children

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The board of Tides Family Services has agreed to an offer from the board of directors of St. Mary’s Home for Children in North Providence to manage St. Mary’s operations.

Tides Family Services will assume management of all St. Mary’s programs, including the outpatient department, psychiatric treatment center, home-based treatment services and others.

“Tides has an outstanding record of providing services to children and families in need, and strong fiscal and management practices,” said Jeff Cascione, President of St. Mary’s Home for Children’s Board.

“We are confident that this agreement will ensure that the children and youth at St. Mary’s receive the services they deserve, and are confident in a smooth transition as Tides takes over day-to-day management and operations.”
