Tiverton officials respond to shed fire

TIVERTON, R.I. (WLNE) — The Tiverton Fire Department was on scene for a shed fire this morning. 

According to officials, the department was dispatched around 4:45 a.m. to Main Road to encounter a fully involved shed fire within close proximity of a house. 

Two engines, a ladder truck and incident command vehicle were able to extinguish the fire which included some extension to the house, according to Chief William Bailey.

Crews were on scene for about one hour. 

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
