Tiverton police search for man accused of stealing from Dollar General

TIVERTON, R.I. (WLNE) — The Tiverton Police Department said Thursday that they are searching for a man who is accused of stealing from a Dollar General.

Police said that they believe the man stole from the location on Stafford Road on Wednesday.

Surveillance footage from the store shows the man taking off in a silver Honda Accord with a thin red line sticker on the rear bumper.

The alleged thief is described as a white man with brown or reddish hair and a beard. Police believe he is about 5 foot 7 inches tall.
