3-year-old falls from third floor window in Woonsocket

Woonsocket, RI (WLNE) – A 3-year-old boy fell from a third floor window Wednesday evening on Privilege Street in Woonsocket, police say.

The 3-year-old fell from the window around 6:00 p.m. after his 6-year-old sibling opened the window due to the warm temperature.

The boy fell out at some point because the window’s screen was open, according to police.

The toddler was transported to Hasbro Children’s hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

This incident is still under investigation.
