Toll Gate High School goes virtual due to extensive flooding

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — Toll Gate High School is going virtual this week due to extensive flooding in parts of the building.

Officials said Monday that the school will be moving to distance learning for the remainder of the week, during which time crews will be repairing and correcting water damage in the building.

Mayor Frank Picozzi said a radiator leak appeared to be the source of the flooding.

The school said on its website that Career Tech Center students will be able to attend their classes in-person, as that building did not sustain damage.

The website also contains full schedules for students to reference regarding classes for the rest of the week.
