Top Performers Shine in State Track and Field Meet at Brown Stadium

A great day for the RI State Track Meet at Brown Stadium. Smithfield won the girls team title, Hendricken the boys.
Barrington’s Bobby Colantonio won the hammer throw for a third straight year. South Kingstown’s Anthony Shepard won the boys long jump, making it a three-peat. Cumberland’s Meaghan Scullin won the girls high jump.
Smithfield senior Alyssa Colbert won the girls javelin.
Nathan Narcisse of Classical was the champion in the 110 meters.
In the girls 100 meter hurdles, North Kingstown’s Tereza Bolibruch was the winner.
In the girls 100 meter dash, Classical’s May Stern wins in a time of 12.40.
in the 1500 meters, Eliza Rego of LaSalle won in a time of 4:36.83.
LaSalle star Jack Salisbury won the boys 1500.
