Town of Richmond inviting residents to grand opening of new dog park

RICHMOND, R.I. (WLNE) — The Town of Richmond announced it has completed construction of a new dog park that’s been years in the making.

The town said the new dog park, located at 3 County Acres Rd., adjacent to the Richmond Heritage Trail.

Town officials said that up until recently, there was an informal dog park on Buttonwoods Road, but it was unable to stay at that location.

A formal grand opening for the new park will take place on November 4, between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11:30 a.m.
