TRAFFIC: Tractor-trailer jackknifed on 195; seek alternate route

EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Authorities are warning motor vehicle operators to seek alternate routes Saturday afternoon after a tractor- trailer jackknifed on 195.

According to Rhode Island State Police, a tractor-trailer crashed into the median between I-195 East and West around 11:30 a.m. 

Traffic will be directed into one lane in each direction until the crash is cleared. 

No word yet on injuries.
