Trail named in honor of North Kingstown cross country coach

NORTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (WLNE) — Community members, students, and parents gathered to honor the long-time North Kingstown boys cross country coach on Wednesday.

In recognition of Paul Tetreault’s 42 years of coaching and “extraordinary commitment” to the boys’ cross country team, a trail at Ryan Park was named in his honor.

Additionally, Tetreault was inducted into both the North Kingstown High School Hall of Fame and the Rhode Island Track and Field Hall of Fame.
