Train strikes tractor trailer in Woonsocket

Police and Fire are currently on the scene in Woonsocket where a train struck a tractor trailer, flipping it over onto its side.
The accident happened around 10 p.m. Wednesday night near the intersection of Fairmount and River Streets. It appears the train, traveling southbound, clipped the corner of the truck, causing it to flip.
Fire Officials say the operator of the trailer, a male, was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
