Treasurer Magaziner in quarantine after close contact, has not tested positive for COVID-19

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- Rhode Island General Treasurer Seth Magaziner is quarantining after he came in close contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19.

A spokesperson for Seth Magaziner said the Treasurer has not tested positive and has no symptoms.

He will quarantine in accordance with Rhode Island Department of Health’s guidelines.

Magaziner will “continue to maintain a full work schedule from his home until further notice,” the spokesperson said in a statement.
