Tree worker dies from injuries suffered by tree limb

Swansea, Mass (WLNE) – A tree worker died after being injured by a tree limb while on the job Thursday morning in Swansea.

Swansea police say they received a 911 call requesting assistance on Deborah Lane just after 10:40 a.m. for an injured tree worker.

When police arrived, they discovered an unconscious man who had been working in the bucket of a tree truck where he was injured by a tree limb, according to a police press release.

Taylor Bowen, 28, of Rehoboth was transported to Rhode Island Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

The incident is currently being investigated by police.
