Tricky Turkey Day Forecast!

Today (Wednesday) is looking a okay. We’ll see plenty of sunshine, and temperatures will hover right around 50 degrees this afternoon. Tonight, temperatures reach the mid 30s, clouds move in, showers begin after midnight… and so begins our rainy Thanksgiving.
Rain will intensify as we wake up on Thanksgiving morning, and the heaviest rain looks to be late morning/early afternoon. That said, while the rain lightens up a bit in the evening, it won’t leave until late night. High temperatures will be in the mid to upper 40s. While we’ll be soggy, northern New England (especially higher elevations) will be wintry! Snow will be mainly focused on the mountains– great news for skiers and snowboarders looking for their first week out on the slopes.
The rain is gone Friday, and clouds clear out leaving us with some sunshine and temperatures in the mid 40s. Brace yourselves, however, because as we end November and start December this weekend, temperatures take an absolute nose-dive. We’ll see plenty of sun, but highs will only be in the upper 30s and low 40s all the way through the beginning of the coming week.
