Trinity Square neighborhood to undergo water main construction

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Water main construction work is scheduled to begin in April in the Trinity Square neighborhood of Providence.
12 miles of Providence Water distribution mains will be rehabilitated during the project which will run from April through November.
The work may disrupt normal traffic and require temporary bypass waster service connections for customers.
Providence Water plans to remain in constant communication with customers during the construction process.
There will be a community meeting on Wednesday, April 10 at 6 p.m. at the Southside Community Land Trust at 404 Broad Street.
This meeting will provide an overview of the water main construction process and will serve to answer resident questions.
This project is part of Providence Water’s Infrastructure Rehabilitation Program.
Customers can call 401-521-6303 or visit provwater.com/construction with any questions about the project.
