Trooper chases armed robbery suspect from Attleboro to Dedham

ATTLEBORO, Mass. (WLNE) — Massachusetts State Police said one of their troopers engaged the suspect of an armed robbery in a chase from the Massachusetts, Rhode Island line to Dedham early Sunday morning.

According to state police, at approximately 2:39 a.m., a trooper initiated a pursuit of a vehicle connected to an armed robbery that entered Massachusetts from Rhode Island on Route 95.

The chase went from Attleboro to Dedham, where officials say the trooper called off the chase after the suspect left the highway.

Rhode Island State Police are handing the ongoing investigation.
