Tropical air returns this week, but without the high heat

Monday looks to be a fine day, though clouds and humidity levels will increase later in the day. There could be a popup shower or thundershower later in the day. However, moisture is limited, so any shower activity should be limited and brief.

Tropical air returns to the region for the midweek stretch as the weather pattern becomes more unsettled between Tuesday and Thursday with a frontal system stalling in the area. This will allow periodic showers or thundershowers daily, some which could bring very heavy downpours at times. Rainfall totals through Thursday could potentially reach 1-3 inches in some spots.

High pressure will bring sunshine and drier conditions later Friday and on into the entire weekend!
