Truck crashes into utility pole in North Kingstown

NORTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (WLNE) — Police said a driver was hurt after crashing into a utility pole in North Kingstown early Thursday.

Police said a white Chevy Colorado struck a utility pole on South County Trail shortly before 1 a.m.

The driver, a 23-year-old man from West Warwick, was brought to Rhode Island Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

No further information was released.
