Tuesday is the last day to apply for the 72nd Providence Police Academy

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Tuesday, Oct. 31 at 11:59 is the deadline to apply for the 72 Providence Police Academy.

According to the department, applicants must be at least 18-years-old to apply, have a valid driver’s license, must have a high school diploma or equivalent and can not be convicted of a felony offense.

All applicants will be subject to a background and character check and are carefully investigated before being hired.

Applicants will also have to pay a $50 registration fee and $35 for processing.
