Tuesday marks last day for voters to cast ballots in Massachusetts primary

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) — Tuesday marks the last day Massachusetts voters can cast their ballots in the statewide primary. Here’s some key races to know before heading to the polls.

Governor:

  • Geoff Diehl
  • Chris Doughty
  • Maura Healey

State Sen. Sonia Chang-Diaz will also be on the ballot, but unofficially withdrew from the race back in June.

Lt. Governor:

  • Leah Allen
  • Kate Campanale
  • Kim Driscoll
  • Tami Gouveia
  • Eric Lesser

Bristol County District Attorney:

  • Thomas Quinn
  • Shannon McMahon

Bristol County Sheriff:

  • Nicholas Bernier
  • Paul Heroux
  • George McNeil

The winner will go on to face current Sheriff Tom Hodgson, whose been in the position since 1997.
