Two-alarm house fire in Providence impacting four families

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Four families have been displaced after a house fire in Providence on Monday afternoon.

The American Red Cross says it is helping the seven adults affected by the two-alarm fire on Superior Street.

Reports of the fire first came in at 1:30 p.m.

The Providence Fire Department ultimately controlled the blaze.

Damage to the roof can be seen in video footage obtained by ABC 6 News.

There are no reported injuries.
