Two cars involved in accident on I-95 South

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- State Police and Pawtucket Police responded to an accident on I-95 South involving two vehicles Tuesday night.

ABC6 News Crews arrived to the scene, near the Branch Avenue exit, to see two vehicles with heavy damage surrounded by emergency vehicles.

A Fire truck and three ambulances blocked off lanes from the highway to assess those involved, traffic continuously building up.

National Grid is also on scene cutting up a pole that is believed to have been knocked down as a result of the accident

The status of the operators is currently unknown, we’ll provide updates as they become available.
