PROVIDENCE (WLNE)- Massachusetts State Police have charged two individuals with operating what they described as a “clandestine methamphetamine lab” in North Attleboro.

A months-long investigation led to a search on Jan. 15 of a residence at 35 Heather St., where police discovered materials used in meth production and completed methamphetamine.

One man, Jamie B. Nickerson, and a woman, Shannon E. Daley, who police said lived in the basement of the residence, were each charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of a Class B narcotic, and conspiracy to violate drug laws.

They were arraigned in Attleboro district court and a criminal case is now pending, state police said in a statement released Monday.

During the search, police evacuated the residence due to the “highly toxic nature of methamphetamine” production.

Two others individuals found at the home were not charged.

Along with the drug, police found “items and materials consistent with those used in the production of methamphetamine, including lithium batteries, mineral salts, two packages of Sudafed, three Instant Cold Pack medication packages, a piece of cut hose, and a package of coffee filters.”

Police released a photo of what they described as a “one-pot lab” set-up.
