Two hospitalized in Coventry stabbing

COVENTRY, R.I. (WLNE) — Two people were hospitalized after a stabbing in Coventry.

The Coventry Police Department said officers responded to Mapledale Street on Wednesday night.

Officials said one person took themselves to the hospital while the other was taken by rescue.

Police said no suspects were apprehended and added that the incident is under investigation.

Authorities noted any further details would be released Thursday morning.
