Two injured in boat crash in Warwick

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — Two people were injured in a boat crash in Warwick yesterday.

According to officials, a 40-foot boat and a 20-foot cabin collided in the vicinity of Warwick neck.

The Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management arrived on scene, and towed the smaller vessel to Allen Harbor.

The patients were taken to Rhode Island.

The larger vessel only sustained minor cosmetic damage, and the crew from Station Point Judith conducted a post search-and-rescue Boarding that resulted in zero violations or warnings.

There’s no updates on the condition of the patients at this time.
