Two men hospitalized after motorcyclist crashes into bicyclist in Providence

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- A motorcycle driver crashed into a man riding a bicycle in Providence on Monday morning.

The crash happened at about 11 a.m. on Lenox Avenue near Niagra Street.

The driver of the motorcycle, a 33-year-old man, lost control of his vehicle after hitting the 73-year-old man on the bike.

After the crash, the motorcyclist lost control and slid under a parked car.

Both men were taken to Rhode Island Hospital to be treated for serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
