Two parents arrested after Portsmouth football game

PORTSMOUTH, R.I. (WLNE) — Two parents were arrested in Portsmouth last night following a high school football game, according to police.

According to officials, it happened around 9:45 p.m. as the two parents were involved in an altercation at the Portsmouth High School game.

One parent, identified as Justin Hackley, is a Portsmouth resident while the other parent, identified as Kevin O’Hagan, is a resident of Narragansett.

Police said no minors were involved in the altercation.

Witnesses told police both men were engaged in an argument and were pushing and shoving each other.

They were released from the scene, however police issued affidavits and arrest warrants for both Hackley and O’Hagan.

They were arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, and will be arraigned on Thursday.
