CRANSTON, R.I. (WLNE) — Two pedestrians were struck by a car on Reservoir Avenue in Cranston Tuesday night.

Police arrived at the scene at around 10 p.m. to find the two pedestrians with apparent head injuries with a single vehicle that remained on the scene during the investigation.

Both pedestrians were transported to Rhode Island Hospital for treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.

Alcohol or drugs were not suspected in the incident and no charges have been filed against the driver of the vehicle.

The two pedestrians were not in the crosswalk at the time of the incident and weather visibility appeared to be a factor.
