Two pedestrians seriously injured in Pawtucket hit-and-run

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — Pawtucket police detectives are investigating a Thursday night hit-and-run accident that left two pedestrians seriously injured, according to the Pawtucket Police Department.

The incident occurred at approximately 7:30 p.m. when police and fire personnel responded to Conant Street between Martin Court and Star Street for the hit-and-run.

The driver of the vehicle struck two pedestrians and then fled the scene and both victims were transported to a local hospital.

The incident remains under investigation.
