Two people in Fairhaven severely injured after hit-and-run

Two people have been severely injured after being struck by a car in Fairhaven Saturday morning.
The two victims were walking on Sycamore street at about 2 a.m. when they were struck from behind by a vehicle which fled the area.
Both victims were unconscious when they were found by a snow plow driver. They were transported to St. Luke’s Hospital.
The female victim was subsequently airlifted to Boston Medical Center for further treatment. The male victim has since regained consciousness.
Fairhaven Police Department is asking anyone with further information on this case to call the department at 508-997-7421.
