Two Providence men are under arrest after leading police on a high-speed case Thursday night.

Police say Christopher Goodwin, 31, and Salvatore Ramona, 47, are a suspects in several armed robberies over the last week.

The men recently were released from prison when they allegedly started committing robberies. They are accused of robbing a Rite Aid Pharmacy Saturday night, a gas station Wednesday and then a Shell Gas station on Benefit Street Thursday night.

Police say one of the suspects also attempted to abduct a woman before one of the robberies.

Police heightened patrol in those areas and just after Thursday’s robbery, an officer spotted the suspects.

A chase ensued just before 8 p.m. and the suspects ended up crashing their car on I-95 by the School Street exit in Pawtucket
